No point in playing any non range classes in pvp anymore as there as too many slow effects to even play close combat classes

So I just played a bg as a warrior and we faced locks and mages. Not at one point of the whole fight was I able to move freely, either I was under a constant slow which the others could spam on me or I was frozen in place. There was no way to get out of these effects either apart from the occasional blade storm or bloodrage and blood rage only removes the effect once, not make you immune for a few seconds, Meaning that I would be slowed instantly again. What is the point of even playing a close combat class if you are not even able to play them anymore?
