My mercenary got 210 strenght, but he cannot wear an item with that requirement. Why?

A screenshot of the item and of the stats on your mercenary might be useful.
Upload the screenshots on a website that hosts pictures, such as imgur.com and put a link to each screenshot in your reply. Then convert each link to preformatted text by highlighting the entire link and clicking on the </> button on the formatting bar at the top of the composition window.
