I am also on a Mac and have been experiencing exactly the same issue since Friday 6th when everything worked fine. Next day I could not connect to EU battle.net - checking versions forever, and it is still like that more than for 2 days. I am a legit player. The only gateway available is Asia-where the login screen appears, so how could this be a Mac problem? Is EU realm down? For so long? I am so glad D2R is coming soon, so many issues with the current game…

We don’t have any restrictions, i don’t understand why this problem is only for Apple user.
I don’t have a static ip and when battle.net give a ban don’t checking for version forever.
I don’t won’t to play asia realm, too much lag.
I can only access the Asia gateway too. Tried all solutions, with no effect.
Still can’t get beyond the “checking versions”.
Yeah Ixthocaesil… Why do you put our replies under this thread, where they clearly do NOT belong ?!? Our experiences has NOTHING to do with CD-Keys in use.
I will definately take screenshots of what you did, and complain about your VERY poor behaviour. Aren’t you supposed to be helping solving issues…?

I know this next bit isn’t something you want to hear, but I’m afraid I can’t tell you the exact time when it’s going to fixed but I can guarantee you that is going to be one of the developers’ priorities. However, sometimes it might undoubtedly take some time, thank you for your understanding.
We will definitely use this experience to minimise the chance of having issues like that in the future as we do understand it’s not the best thing to have in the game.
