Hard copy of blizzard games

Hi

I have hard a copy of Diablo 1 on cd-rom , i was wondering why i need to buy Diablo 1 in the store when i already bought the game many years ago , if i remember correct i did play the games online at some point i just entered the game key from the cd-rom cover but it seems that feature is gone now , any reespone is welcome

Diablo 1 didn’t have a game key… mine doesn’t in any case.
