OW2 shop and currency buying problem fixed with merging

I couldnt buy stuff for the heroes with ow2 currency and didnt have even the option to go to shop. Then I tried to merge the account with my ps4 (I play on pc) and that fixed the problem. I dont even have overwatch in my ps4…
Felt wrong that I had to connect those accounts to even be able to buy stuff.
