Request: character transfer from CIS realms to a Western European realm (Ukrainian player)

Hi everyone,

I’m a player from Ukraine and a content creator — I stream and make videos about games. My World of Warcraft characters are currently on the CIS (Russian-language) realms.

Since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, many of my friends have relocated to Europe, and I’d like to move fully to the European region so I can play alongside them and stream for my community.

Is there any way to transfer my existing characters from the CIS realms to a Western European realm? I contacted a Game Master and was encouraged to post here so the community and developers could weigh in.

I understand cross-region transfers aren’t a standard service, but given the circumstances I wanted to raise it here and ask whether there’s any current path — official or planned — for players in my situation

Perhaps the honourable GM is confused ?

You will want to post on the WoW forums… Customer Support is probably a good place to start… assuming such a transfer is possible.

So, even posting in the WoW forum, this will not be possible because Blizzard does not support such a request…
