So, I’m a 50+ former gamer just getting back into things, and a friend of mine suggested we play WarZone. So went through the over complicated sign up process, downloaded the game and started in Boot Camp.
Quit of of this, then restarted and now I cannot get back to boot camp, posted on the support forums and got nowhere, so I put in a requet to have my account deleted and created a new one.
Logged in with this new account and when I launch the game I get a message saying that my phone number is in use with another account, then quits to desktop.
Before I asked for my (1-day) ‘old’ account to be deleted I removed my phone number as well as all other personal info before I put in the delete request. On my new account, both my email and phone number are verified.
I was a software engineer for 30 years, and cannot believe how crap the UI and UX is at every stage of this process. Deleting all apps and games, never to touch Blizard again with a barge pole.
