You know as much as anyone here… the message on Twitter hasn’t changed, nor have they added any new info.

Some people mentioned a DDOS, but I haven’t seen any official info about that…

You’ll need to wait until they figure out the cause for the issue… and fix it.

Same here, from belgium to, cfan’t log in, always get a wow error login fail while i am trying to get into the game from the log in screen, the balk does not even move

The issue that was causing all these connections and login problems was resolved yesterday morning…

If you are still having problem connecting and/or logging into World of Warcraft (Retail or Classic), you need to post on the WoW forums, not here.

This forum here is for legacy games — very old games such as Diablo II: Lord of Destruction.

I’ve nt been able to log in for a week… DC’s immediately… opened a ticket… waste of time…

This topic is about an issue that occurred at the beginning of April… 1½ months ago… and which was resolved a few days later.

Have you tried posting on the WoW forums ?


The forums here are for technical support on Blizzard’s Legacy Games — old games such as Diablo II (2000) and its expansion, Diablo II: Lord of Destruction.

yup… it’s still not working so 3 weeks now… GM’s are utterly useless and won’t even try to help and there is nothing useful on the forums.

I’ve tried the whole rigmarole again today and it will not even load to the character screen now.

Which section did you send the ticket to ? Technical ? or Account ?

If it’s an account issue, the ā€œGame Mastersā€ won’t be able to help and will refer you to the forums. (I wish they would refer you to the WoW forums specifically, however… but they don’t seem to know about that).

We had a similar issue a month ago in Diablo III… player did all the suggested troubleshooting recommended in the Support article, but still no-go… contacted Blizzard Support and the GM said ā€œsince you’ve done all the troubleshooting we have for this error, post on the forums and ask for help from the communityā€. :rage:

We did more testing and it seemed to point to an issue with the account – player contacted the Account section and got a reply from the GM that Customer Support could not correct the problem but that he was escalating the case for a more in-depth investigation. The issue was resolved 2 days later.

All this to say that, perhaps, you need to try the ticket route again…

There isn’t much more that I can do… I can point you to the WoW forums in either Europe or Americas/SEA regions, I can point you to the Technical Support and the Customer Support categories on those forums… I can even point you to the Support article in the KnowledgeCenter for the WoW51900118 error (which doesn’t say much)…

I am willing to try to help you but my knowledge of WoW is rather small… which is why I suggested you post in the WoW forums… where those who play WoW can see it. Blizzard Support has abandonned this forum… and the forums for most of the games… except for WoW, it seems. So it is unclear to me what your expectations are by posting here.
