same here all characters gone with the wind
The same thing happened to me.
Diablo 2 resurrected now become Diablo 2 Re-crashed! so sad!
What a shitshow, this is inexcusable by now.
And what makes me angry even more is that there is no message whatsoever from Blizzard regarding these problems at all. Just some repetitive messages on Twitter that answer no questions at all.
At least have the common decency to inform your customers of the problem at hand.

Mine are also wiped 
Well my online character won’t show up anymore. Seems i gotta wait “one hour” again.

Game Crashed for me too and characters doesn’t appear anymore.
I identified items with decard cain when the message “pending transaction” has appeared, then black screen -->> main menu and on the logging no more on-line characters appear…

Same problem, game crashed when items should be identified and then all chars are gone. No help from technical support!

Motherf… ones again crashing and no more online play. Paying 39.99 for a game thats playable 25% of the time. I hope the ladder season will be at least 4 years because this shi.t is gonna take forever. Give me a 75% refund and i would accept
