First of all, an iGPU, like the Intel Iris that you are using is not officially supported. It may however already help to have as little software run in the background as possible to have as much RAM freed up as possible. Try launching your laptop without background apps and set your Battle.net App to close when launching Diablo II: Resurrected. To do this, click on the Battle.net symbol in the top left, choose settings and in here click on the dropdown box for “On Game Launch” and choose “Exit Battle.net completely”.
