Sorry for the delay in updates. I left the office for the night a bit after my last post and we didn’t have anything meaningful to share. Keep in mind that just because we aren’t posting doesn’t mean that there is nobody on the case - it just means that there’s nothing important to share, usually.
Back in for the day, so I wanted to follow up on this situation, even though the situation looks mostly the same as my last post. At this time they’re still working on the problem with AVX support causing crashes on certain CPUs. I entirely understand that waiting on a fix for something like this is exceptionally frustrating, so I hope these messages are at least helpful to note that we’ve got our eyes in the right place.
The issue has a high priority and from what Rod Fergusson mentioned we’re shooting for a patch for this today at the latest. Again, we can’t 100% promise this will happen because we never know what roadblocks we will run into until we run into them, but this is one of our top issues at the moment.

if the screw up was on blizz side for more than 24 hours now - give every person who couldnt play for that reason 300% MF/300% GF 100% bonus XP for 24h! That will be the least you can do to compensate YOUR fault, blizz!

Ich habe die Beta nicht gespielt und selbiges Problem - es betrifft derzeit alle Spieler
deren CPU AVX nicht unterstützen.
Laut Techsupport sollte AVX auch nicht nötig sein, daher heißt es weiter warten,
bis der Hotfix geliefert wird.

I’m so upset now. Beta worked fine. All other Blizzards game working fine. D2R don’t wanna start. Reinstall doesn’t help, any other tricks from internet doesn’t help. DxDiag does not show any issues with system. What else I can do besides unsubscribe and ask for refund? This is nonsense.

if they delay the launch for everyone to fix this issue - i wouldnt be this mad to be honest
At all blizzcon you say : “we want for all pepole to be the part of the game community, play with a friends, share the beauty of the unique moments”. - just a words
the reality - poor explanation for leftovers with blizzardsoon TM to fix it.
