D2R doesn't launch

I saw an update, I had a little hope but not always nothing. It’s starting to be long, especially for old games and a studio like blizzard.

I felt a little hope like you too. Loaded a character, started playing then boom. Game crashed again after a minute. All that anger and disappointment came back.

Hmm, D2 Resurrected finally works for me. I have the game installed in a VM with Windows 10 within the Virtualization Station on the QNAP NAS (TVS-1282T3 with 48GB RAM), where the processor is i7-7700 (and also GTX 1660 Super OC GP and 16GB RAM is set for the VM). However, I had the default CPU “Intel Core i7 (Westmere)” set for the VM, and as soon as I changed this to “Passthrough”, the Windows 10 in VM now correctly reports the i7-7700 and the game run in 4K resolution on max. without any problems

I bet the game will crash on a NASA computer and the team will say it doesn’t have the minimum requirements lol

how the work is going?

Same I7 920 here and can’t play the game !
At least a message to say the CPU cannot meet the minimum specs will help users, but please fix this issue !!! we can’t understand this decision

Anothr day another Chance… Blizzard can we do Something to Help? Avx problems are still alive.

Refunded the game and i’m waiting until AVX is fixed… Can’t wrap my head around the fact that this happens to a Blizzard release, no other of my 100 games has AVX as requirement.

Hey there,

unfortunately it is not an easy fix as stated in the blue post update and could potentially effect players who can play the game right now. Therefor the QA team is doing some extended testing which can take a few days. New updates will be given in the linked topic.

Thank you for your patience so far and we hope you can help us to defend Sanctuary soon!

Finally I have my refund, but had to wrote them twice, because the automatic refund always said I wasn’t elegible for a refund, and even writing to them they said they won’t refund me because I had been playing (it never opened). I had to menace them with a PayPal refund and suddenly they refunded me in minutes

I dont want to refund, I want to play the game ! I have been waiting for this remaster for years ! Make it work please !

Hi. After launching the game i saw the Blizzard logo, then Diablo 2 Resurrected logo and then the glove cursor and D2 logo in the bottom right corner. After few seconds the game is crushing and kicking me to desktop. Did anyone have such a problem? I will be grateful for any help, just want to play

I had the same issue. Fixed it by changing my refresh rate on the monitor to 60Mhz and running the game in dx11.

Thank you for replay, I have refresh rate 60Mhz and DX11 and still doesn’t work :frowning:

Update - I have DX12. Do you think it could be a problem?

Could you please tell me how to run D2R in DX11?

Another day without patch . . . . :rage:

The game has been launched for a week and still no patch for some of us.
Are you planning to do something or not?
You let us play alpha and beta without any problem and now what is the root of the problem?
I even sent 1 or 2 remarks during the alpha.
We’re looking for escuses for you, but we really can’t find any.
I hope to be able to play tonight or tomorrow, otherwise we will have to think about compensation.
