Give us a “sold” vendor slot already to get things back!

I literary described in the post what steps you need to take to sell a item, making up things i said really show you have no ground to stand on.
And… what points? You havent said anything but “i want this” and then made up non relatable scenarios from real life

Accidentally selling something, is a mistake you only do once, if you keep doing the same mistake over and over, its no longer a accident

Im surprised that buy back tab wasnt included in QoL list when this remastered was planned. Its really sad to see people lose high runewords due to simple mistake that could be remedied by a vendor tab. Id probably quit the game if i fat fingered and accidentally sold my enigma.

Yes! This also improves Diablo clone spawn: just sell and buyback the same SoJ 200 times! Free perfect stats Annihilus for everyone!

Playing on a console? Then we all know u didnt touch this game for 20 years.

No, there is literally 0 logic in your post.
You don’t even have 1 simple reason, why a “sold items” vendor tab shouln’t exist, besides your supercilious selfish opinion.

How is it not a good reason that people could use their brain and avoid selling things to vendor that they dont want to sell? Do you really need a babysitter for everything?

It’s a game? You are supposed to have fun? Selling one good item can totally break your build. And shit can happen, so nothing wrong with buyback tab.

Atleast add “are you sure” on uniques when you try and sell. But guess that’s also something that will destroy your gaming experience?

Also, do you even read posts before you reply? Seriously? He specifically said that he “accidentaly sold it”
How does it have to do anything with using brain? You never did anything by mistake? No matter how much you use brain, accidents do happen.

Because by using your brain, you wouldnt do a mistake as selling one of your core items to a vendor?

And a game should be fun yes, and the game is fun

And yes i did read, and accidents do happen, but i wouldnt blame the game for MY mistake, i would call myself an idiot, learn from it, and dont do it again. Which is why i dont vendor anything without reading what i am vendoring.
Old school games are designed not just to be braindead things to make time pass, many also were designed to be educational, like teaching people to not be careless, which this game have plenty of mechanics that focus on. Like the way talent points are set in stone with a single click. Hardcore mode put that to extreme with one life, so one death means that character + gear is gone.

Not every game needs a function to fix every mistake people do, cause that causes people to be more careless, since doing mistakes doesnt have a actual consequence.

If you vendor a single item that is important to you, i can assure you, that you wont make that mistake again.

But that’s why there is Hardcore if people want to go extreme lengths.

Softcore should be just that, softcore.
Also educational game? Diablo? Are they also educating people how to gamble? Since you can gamble in Diablo.
No man, i totally dissagree with you.
And trust me, i play games to escape reality sometimes. Because there are just too many decissions to take in Real Life. I don’t want games to be 2nd job. I play just for fun. Simple as that.
Also remember even in real life once you bought or sold something, you can always return/refund it!
Just that Diablo doesn’t educate you in “customers rights”!

To add “are you sure” on uniques it’s nice idea actually, it’s even better to add just when selling runewords. Dinosaurs may approve it.

this new generation really is something else…

I absolutely HATE “are you sure” pop ups… it would ruin the game.

Whenever a game does that my thoughts go “of course Im sure im not a complete moron, I did this for a reason”

How often do you sell runewords? If anything I am dinosaur.

I wouldnt be oppsed to a popup when using controller, but any vendoring mistakes when using mouse and keyboard are just being dumb

How often do you sell uniques to a vendor lol?
How would it ruin a game?
We are talking about “missclicks” here.
Also, Stop with crap like “use brain etc”

If i got some uniques, some rares and i want to vendor rares, simple missclick can make me sell very good unique item. Having buyback tab or having popup for uniques is not ruining anything.
Doesn’t take much to ruin your peoples experience lol…If simple popup can ruin it for you.

It wont ruin anyones experience, but a lot of players are opposed to adding features that babysit players who for some reason arent able to read.

Ive played d2 on and off since its release, and ive never heard people complaining about selling their expensive uniques and runewords and then blame it on the game before. There must be a very “special” kind of players that came in with d2r.

because you are an idiot we need to suffer? Alright makes sense…

There is kind of an unforgiveness by D2 which can be very painfull like the example described in this thread. But in my opinion this is part of D2 and gives it that certain flavour.
There are actually ALOT of unforgiving situations like that in the game, the vendor is just one example. Lets say you open up your inventory in multiplayer game and accidentially drop your enigma because of the same slippery finger move as explained, the next player willl insta grab it and just claim it for him. So should there be a “sir, this was an accident, give it back”-button to redeem back the item? guesd not.
You put one skill point wrong by accident, should there be a button to undo it? Guess not, would make tokens obsolete.
You put eni runes in a wrong order making it JahBerIth and you just lost 2 high runes, should there be a button to undo it? No, just no !
You must simply learn to be cautios with all your actions, Diablo 2 is unforgiving and that is part of the game and people want it to stay

My god!
Adding an buyback tab or popup window will make you suffer? You don’t know of suffering…

Alright, that’s it. We don’t simply agree. You keep learning your lessons in Diablo! :+1: I have more important things in life. This was just discussion. Noone touched your precious vendor. I hope Blizz don’t change anything. God forbid you guys have to suffer!

Yes, I 100% agree with you.
