my sunday morning experience with queue;

Queue 144 - waited ~ 1 hour.
While waiting seems d2 lost connection to server.
After this hour back in queue pos 244.
Have to wait 3-4 hours again?.. for 3 minute dia run ?

So please understand that I’m not defending Blizzard AT ALL.

But given the current situation (which again is not acceptable) it will help if player stop spamming games at this moment (again not acceptable, but unfortunately it’s how the current situation is).

Longer farm runs maybe a way at the moment but this will be no solution for other problems like this. What is if I want to create a game and the name already exist? What is in the case I just want to pick a rune from a seconed char? I always have to wait a minute to try again to create a game.

Ok, you introduced the queue system in order to solve some issues with the outages, BUT, once you have logged in and you start to create few game (maybe to farm pindleskin) after 3 maximum 4 games, the classic error about the network problem appears. You didn’t fix anything!!! It’s just a little workaround, but not a fix!

One of the issues Blizzard are having is players creating new games all the time. Therefore it would be a help if players did a longer farm route to extend the life of each game created.

Now please note that I’m not saying these are acceptable conditions. But as things look right now it is what we have to deal with unfortunately. If you want to help right now you should make each game last longer.

Blizzard should offer new method to reset the map and enemies so that we could farm the bosses while staying in one game instead of creating new games over and over again.

Quite simple fix.

And then they have to remove the 1 minute timer for failing in joining/creating a game.

And they should increase that timer to 5 minutes.

Summary: players will not spam new games, they can do mephisto runs all day while staying in the same game. Joining/creating games will work fine even if the game already/does not exist(s).

That’s all. Pretty simple.

Said this a while a go, very simple to put in place, removes the queue crap, and the servers will just tick a long as they are.

Respawn after 5 minute option when in game, and before the speed mf complain that 5 minutes is too long, clear more areas than just one…!

So so so simple… but alas… falling on deaf ears I fear…

i tried to login early in the morning and i waited queue. When i entered the game it went offline in 1 minute and when i clicked oniline tab it went queue again. I laughed and left the game. Now i tried to login again and it says 300 queue!!! Can you explain why i have to wait 1 hr to play a game that i payed for? I bought every wow and Diablo editions and you are telling me that this was a big mistake? Lesson learned.

Well, the queue has a bad side effect:

All people with a real life (children … family!!) can not play D2R any more because… we have to wait 1-2hours to login. So i dont know what will happen in 1-2hours. Maybe the kids need something, …

so basically the queue system locks out ALL PARENTS from playing D2R.

And if the game crashes, you are in queue again. So even people who can play 24 hours per day may wait many hours to play.
