Greetings to the community and the game crew,
First of all I need to clear a thing or two. I, as in, personally, among many others I’m sure, am outraged. I am very much aware that my current post looks familiar, not only from my older ones but the ones that the players are posting each passing minute, faster than the spread of smallpox. I DO NOT NEED an official answer, I DO NOT EXPECT an official answer (by the company), I DO NOT care about any negative answers I get from players and therefore whatever I say is intended for reading and reading only. Just food for the mind.
Day 00 (Pre-Release): That was the day that I actually felt good with myself for spending money once again at your counters. I knew that I would not be able to play from Day 1 because you already “claimed” the fame of being no. 1 (worst) company at releases but I was still okay with myself with the money I spent. Just to be clear, this is not an issue of money, it’s a matter of perspective, a sickening and spiteful spit that left a stain on the players’ foreheads.
Let me explain.
Day 01 (Game Release): Tragic. A complete tragedy. We had the Diablo page releasing a bunch of videos that invites the player to play, taunting after taunting, teasing after tease and what we get ? Ughh … Nevermind that, I know Blizzard since I can remember myself, I know the releases never go as intended. I already forgave that a day before the release. The problem continues.
Day 04 (Day 4 since launch): That was the day I thought I was at my fullest. Like, I’ve had it. 4 days, seen players reaching level 80-85, me ? I’ve been trying to get out of that never-ending circle, curse you may call it, of disconnections. Every time I got in a map I got kicked out, and not only. Sometimes it was 2 minutes, sometimes it was 5, and at it’s best, it was 15 minutes, the best part is that, I had to wait for another 20-25 minutes to get back on.
Day 07 (Day 7 since launch): 3 whole days I’ve been trying to finish the bloody Arcane Sanctuary because I could never find the objective in time before I got a disconnection. 3 f days. And when luck actually smiled to me and didn’t get me disconnected before I found the objective, I finished it and moved on. A FEW HOURS LATER I get in Act V, where my crusade begun. Kick after kick and disconnection after disconnection, more regular now, 3 minutes tops, if I was lucky. Author note: This was just in normal difficulty.
Day 08 (Day 8 since launch): The day I uninstalled, uninstalled and got into New World until this trouble of a game is fixed. Which never happened.
Day 21 (Day 21 since launch - AKA today): Today is the day that I’ve lost all hope to you as a big company, you ashamed yourself, degraded and defamed, all by your own incompetency. You shall NEVER, EVER see a penny again from me, NO MATTER what kind of game you release. I do hope that you understand, I know you don’t care about a single lost-player, but I do hope that the leaving players will smack you on the forehead like you spit on theirs.
The thing is, what troubles me so, it’s the fact that on the first week a big amount of players were able to play non-stop with no problems and now things are out of hand, beyond your reach. You NOT being transparent and forthcoming to your player-base says a lot. My best guess is that you tried with teeth and bone to keep the servers alive until many players cash-in. After all, it’s what you’re after, it’s what everyone wants. The grave mistake you did is that, after the cash-ins, the game lost it’s “parents”, you forgot about it in a park, you didn’t care enough and you left, never to return. You got to understand how this destroyed whatever reputation you have left after the recent events that were even displayed on the bloody news. You got to think bigger, act bigger, grow up, and escort your current IT team OFF THE PREMISES !! People are looking for jobs, smart people that actually know how to run games, find them, pay them and let them do their job.
You are losing WoW players, you are losing Diablo players, all by the thousands, new games are coming, taking the world by storm and you are here, helplessly trying to fix a single game with no results even after a month. Learn to cope and communicate with your players. YOU NEED professional HELP. YOU NEED IT !
That’s it for me. To anyone that read until here, I thank you. If you have something negative to say for the sake of proving a point against me, feel free even though my suggestion would be to keep it to yourself because I simply do not care.
Thanks again.
