Surviving with Vyr Chantdo Wiz

Hi Community,

I have been following the guides but my Vyr Chantodo Wiz is way too brittle.
I just want to check for the advice - if it is some problem with my build or if it is my playstyle issue?
It gets me so hard to survive even in T16 normal rift, though I managed to clear GR75 by few dying.

I am indeed dying even in Archon form - not to mention i have already built over 100 stacks.
I checked the videos and they seem to me that when the Archon stack is over 100 stack, literally very little damage is being taken by Wiz.

So community, may you please check my profile for the build and let me know if this is a build issue?

I understand my amulet and ring are not yet made with socket for gems, but this should not be a factor on the survivability?

Maybe some help there until somebody else can answer.

you only have cooldown on your shoulders. vyr archon is all about being in archon so you should have cooldown on your rings gloves weapon and offhand also

Hey, mate! First off, if you are using the Karini ring, make sure you step out of range every now and then, to proc its toughness buff. It may be dropping without you realizing, and then you get 1-shot in the melee. I personally don’t use Karini + Storm armor, but rather Energy armor - Force armor rune as its toughness buff is magnified by your bracers, as well as the toughness from Magic weapon - Deflection. You can also use Esoteric alteration gem and armor gems (Ruby or Emerald) in clothes for now.

Change Audacity passive to Galvanizing ward, until you get comfy with the play style.

Roll cold damage on bracers and/or amulet, and use Archon without a rune.
Change to cold-rune Black Hole.
Find a higher-bonus belt.

About the play style: try to stay in the density while you have double archon stacks, and then organize your next battle (attract mobs into a big crowd) while on single archon stacks. Pay special attention to when you lose your double stacks and teleport away just before that, as you lose a lot of toughness when that happens.
Make sure you hit with both Left Mouse AND Skill 1 in Archon, to get your stacks up. Use the beam mainly when attracting mobs.
I hope this helps. Good luck
