I am creating this topic in the hopes that it can become a place where people can post friendly questions about the game.

As a new player myself I do not have all the questions, but I am hoping many veteran players of the game might wish to participate in aiding new players with their questions about gameplay and lore.

I will get the ball rolling and ask a question that I wonder about, and I hope it is not too silly to ask.

Which of the prime evils is strongest, and what makes that prime evil strongest?

I’m thinking of this change as a hopeful sign. They wouldn’t bother with this unless they plan to keep D3 supported for a really long time, right?

Anyway, Pikachu’s question is a good one no matter how many hours people have logged.
I believe Diablo has always been described as the strongest of the 3 brothers. As for why…i’m not sure about that. He’s the youngest and holds dominion over terror, so it’s probably based on the idea described by Yoda with his famous line; that fear (terror, Diablo) leads to anger (hatred, Mephisto) which leads to suffering (destruction, Baal). So in other words Diablo’s dominion over terror is like the root cause of all other evil.

Blizz still supports D2 as well…so don’t read into it. The change has nothing to do with the individual game franchises. All the rest of the Blizz forums were already migrated by the Web team over the past year to the new forum software.

Picked up somewhere that diablo 3 would get a patch to auto pickup death breath or other items, but i cant find anything about it, did i just dream that up or is it really happening ?

While that is a very common player request, Blizzard has not said they are going to do it. They might eventually, but so far there have been no promises or announcements.

That is a unique code generated when you crashed. Blizzard Tech Support can tell you what it means. You will need to post on the Tech Support forum for guidance.

The two most common causes of it though, are issues with Razor software and video drives. Make sure your drivers are up to date. You can also read this thread about the Razer issue and how to resolve it.

It’s really a matter of perspective, really.

I remember in the early days of Diablo 3 I could never deal with Belial on my own and always needed help, but he has long since been nerfed.

As far as act bosses are concerned, Malthael can be a bit hard at times.

Where Greater Rift Guardians are concerned, Orlash and Perendi are always giving me a hard time. Be sure to have plenty of damage mitigation when facing them.

I have killed the Butcher and Magda so far in my play of the game. I really love to play so far, and I am playing a witch doctor. But I will try all the classes eventually.

I was fascinated from the begiining of campaign mode, right through to the end… Adventure mode (RoS) is completely different , though i did adventure exclusively as a monk… It was all about the much coveted flying Dragon back then

I have to admit something I really enjoy when I am playing is the conversations and voice acting. I enjoy in chapter 2 in the desert when I had Kormac along as my helper and we meet the lady Eirena.

It is nice to see that they have added some affection/romance into the game as well. So I will be very intrigued to follow their story. :heart:

I almost envy you Pikachu, being a new player. With me playing from within the first few days of release back in 2012, I’ve just about found heard it all.

Although I am surprised sometimes with a new in-game Journal that drops and plays something I haven’t heard yet.

Good evening everyone.

I have gotten to level 42 as a witch doctor, and I have a few questions about being in groups in the game, and how to make friends?

How can one join a group in the game, and how can I be in a group with people the same level as me? I do not want anyone to be level 70 and me 42. Or is it best to wait until level 70 to be in groups?

Is there a way to meet people to play with in the game? I would like to meet friends to play with if possible. But maybe that is best at level 70 too?

getting in a group with lvl 42 is really hard cause everyone is already lvl70. so joining public game is out of the question. making a game and opening it to public is something you can try. best chance for joining games is communities (shift o). My advice to you is considering this is your first char is take your time get to know the game . play solo till 70. if you put the game on master you will reach 70 really fast. after reaching 70 you can still koin games and make friends

As his hero is level 42, the difficulty levels he has access to depends entirely on how far through the campaign he’s got…

New hero - Normal, Hard, Expert
Campaign completed - Normal, Hard, Expert, Master
Level 60 - Normal, Hard, Expert, Master, Torment 1-6
Level 70 - Normal, Hard, Expert, Master, Torment 1-16

At level 42, I doubt he’s completed the Campaign yet, I’d expect him to be early to mid 50s by the time <insert last boss’s name here> has been killed.

Good evening everyone. I have two questions. I am sorry for asking so many things, I hope it is ok that I ask? If not could someone please tell me? I do not want to annoy everyone.

  1. Zoltun Kulle asked me to go to a place as a quest, but I can not find the place, and I forgot what he asked me for :frowning:

  2. I was in the desert map again today, and it was night time there, does the maps change from day to night, depending on your local timezine in real life? (If I play in the evening, will it be a evening map?) I really liked the desert evening map.

Zoltan Kulle is asking you to go and get… Kanai’s Cube
Go to Act III, Ruins of Sescheron. Find the sub-level in the Ruins, the Cube is in a small room at the end of the sub-level.

Whether it’s day, night, raining or not and so on in-game is wholly unrelated to the real world.

I wonder, could anyone help me to understand why I can not make my rift harder than level 27? I can not change it to be higher than this. And with my Witch Doctor, my pets kill the monsters in that rift easy. So I wanted to try even harder.

I see at the time you made this post, you where on Paragon 52, and playing on Master Difficulty.

Try increasing your game difficulty to one of the Torment levels. Starting on Torment 1 is a nice idea, and then progressively go up if you find them too easy.
