Class caracter size obese Druid?

True. A huge selling point for my GF was how her characters look. And if the “transmogging” wardrobe features werent in the game, she would not buy it. And she did not want to play a druid because of their looks.

She didn’t really fancy the look of the necromancer either, but she had the most fun with that class in open beta.

The character customization is quite lackluster.

Some of you “hardcore players” should realize there are casuals who don’t care about builds and endgame, and just want to experience the story and enjoy the journey with a character they can idolize.

She didnt want to skip the intro on our second playthrough, because she thought it was so cool to see the caracter she created/customized in the cutscenes. So for the nay sayers, these things do matter, and it sells.

+1 for Fat Sliders please I want my druid to be appropriately round, not looking like a hair covered football.

I dont think they will care about this post at all…

Agreed. Having obesity as a choice is fine, but I don’t want to be forced into it to play a class.

I want to be forced into playing my chonky boi druid.

And here I thought the US forums were bad… But at least the cope is still flowing strong.

Point out the “Eye candy”, if you will, because as far as I can see, the western side of game development (Particularly in California) has completely forgotten what “Feminine beauty” is.
Only Japan and some parts of Europr without much of a western influence still remember what an appealing woman looks like.

I don’t know about you, but I was quite clearly able to see my big fat Druid running around with his lunchbox while he smacked demons over the head with a stick.

I ended up eating a ban until May as well, all because I dared to criticize an agenda within MW2.

But hey, at least the EU forums seem unmoderated, or at least have minimal moderation. Unless I came here a bit late after a purge had happened.

Fat Bastard from Austin Powers. A real classic.

The character creator in D4 is lackluster & pretty much everyone believes that, it’s one of the negatives of this game because D4 is going to be an MMO now right? well compare to the character creators of other MMOs what Blizzard offer to players is not even 20% there is very few options to choose from on pretty much everything, from faces to hairstyles, to body type options, hair colors, eye colors, skin colors & everything else you can think of, it’s embarrassing from Blizzard to try to compete with other MMOs & having this price tag on top of everything else when their character creator is so disappointing & offer close to zero freedom to players to create their characters the way they want, because you know the players must be in charge of making those choices of how they want their avatar to look like, not the company who made the game, that’s insulting on their part it’s like them saying to our face “no you are not choosing yourself how your character is going to look like because you might create something we won’t like, so if you want to play our game you will let us choose for you instead…” I mean who the F does that? Blizzard must be very arrogants to believe players would be ok with that, they need to come down from their high horses & realize that what they are doing will definitely backfire & create negative press as a lot of players are not gonna like this & they will keep complaining on every chance & D4 will become known everywhere as the MMO that has a character creator that suck & offer very few options & instead of creating an avatar yourself it feels more like the company lead you to create only characters they approve of & nothing else, well wait to see the reaction when the game launch, people will never stop complaining about it until Blizzard address this & offer to players real choice.

Then take this into consideration: Diablo Immortal has more choices for character creation.
D4’s creator is THAT bad.

I can’t really talk about Druids because there is not that much promo materials about it, but I can say that Necromancer does look too skinny.
Even if you watch the official Necromancer trailer, she has some curves to be honest.

It could also be the armor she’s wearing, but if you were to look at her chest, you’d see a bit of a bump as well, at least implying there’s more going up there than a flat board.

If you ask me, they re-designed the Necromancers to look a lot more uhh… Ragged than previously let on.

And the female Necromancer looks more curvy in Immortal as well compared to D4.
So it can be done.
Not the best in the genre but I like character creator from Elder Scrolls Online.
Game that hasn’t improved much on that field since it came out in 2014 but still have more options that WoW or D4

I dunno, I dressed mine up, tried not to cry, then ran out to kill some things and got on with my day.

God, these types of threads take away all my hope in humanity…

I am not interested in playing the Druid and Necro classes anyway (I prefer the Rogue and Sorcerer gameplay), but I think Blizz should just add a body slider to let people build their character as they wish and avoid this kind of useless controversy.

To be honest looking at the devs, I’m not surprised they did. No offense meant. I’m just curious why the hell they bothered with a customization system at all if it’s gonna be this limited.

Embarrassing when their mobile 2022 game has ridiculously more customization options than their 2023 game.

If they do decide to give a crap about what people have to say about this, maybe they’ll look into adding body types cause there are some of us who actually want to play a fat sorcerer.

Hydras look so cool now. But my Sorcerer would look so much cooler if there were more hair styles. I must add that most long hair choices look too wiggy (at least creation mode anyway).

I too would like to play as The Great Wizard Chunkulos.

You also came here from the US side?

First world problems, if you could survive the preset looks of past iterations of classes I’m sure you’ll survive…

Why am I supposed to “survive” a product I am paying for?

We are not in the year 2000 anymore, I expect this to function at a higer level that a game from 20+ years ago, yes. Character customization is expected nowadays in a AAA game.

Anyway, since they apparently decided to double down on the woke ugly and see this play out I’ve put my money where my mouth is and refunded.

Have fun guys, I’m not funding this violation of entertainment with left politics. I’ve never bought a Naughty Dog game after TLoU2, I’ve not given Disney a dime for years, now Diablo joins the pile I guess. I have already left WoW some time ago already, so eh, it’s now all of their products I’ve cared about.

Greet the people from the PC section for me, since I can’t post there anymore. Thanks for the discussions and be well. Peace.
