Confused about Deluxe editions + new Reliquary system… did I lose my old Battle Pass?

Hey,

I’m a bit confused with how things work now and wanted to check if anyone can clarify.

I’ve always bought the Deluxe editions in Diablo IV:

Base Diablo 4 → I had a Battle Pass but never used it

Vessel of Hatred → I actually used the Battle Pass

Lord of Hatred (latest) → now I honestly have no idea what I got

With the new Reliquary system, it feels very different from before, and I’m not sure if I’m misunderstanding something.

My questions:

What exactly do you get now with the Deluxe edition?

Is the old “Battle Pass token” still a thing, or is it gone now?

If I never used my original Diablo 4 Battle Pass, did I lose it?

Why does it sometimes feel like I still need Platinum even after buying Deluxe?

The new system is geared towards naive players who will pay for the same skins over and over again, with minor differences.

This is how they squeeze money out of players by making them believe they now have the power to choose which skin they unlock first.
