I was owner of a business and now retired. I have lot of time to play or do what I want. When I spend money for games I enjoy, I have my money back. But if I spend money to game that is useless or Team makes it unplayable. Then I think I don’t get return for my money. If I get a broken item, I get new one in place but if I get get a broken game it only bring bad mind nothing else. It is absolutely someone else’s fault than mine. I have right to be little angry. The money means nothing to it.
Just remind mekuna was the first clearing PTR max tier Pit 100 with still lv 540 legacy gear on, no max glyphs and without runes…on sorc
You can easily find the video on youtube
So…yeah…sorc still achieving plenty of billions of damage in PTR and even more than that
No no you got it all wrong. Diablo 3.5 was Immoral (Immortal) cash grab. Diablo 4 was built on top of the PC version of Immoral, it was insanely similar at one point in alpha / beta phase. It was idiotic how people did not see it, or perhaps people didnt play the PC version of Immoral which is also why they hesitated first of giving us PC version of Immoral, because they built Diablo 4 on top of that.
Im glad the Diablo 4 never stayed like Immoral, because at first it was scary and really seemed that way.
Cant wait for PoE2 to come out, thats when D4 dies for good in my eyes. 70€ wasted into this and I have to say, it hasnt been worth the money.
By the way, this is one of the disadvantages that were transferred from Diablo 2.
Looks like many think like that.
If they don’t do radicals changes to PTR, it’s for sure they kill D4 after PoE 2 launch.
But 100% of the players who are eagerly waiting for PoE2 are the same ones who believe that Diablo 4 is simplistic, unsophisticated, and flat… without deeper mechanics, synergies, etc. And D4 won’t die even if PoE2 or PoE3 comes out because this game doesn’t target typical ARPG players. This game is made for casuals, for people who don’t want to think but just copy what the “better” players come up with. At the same time, it doesn’t give them too many choices (builds) because their brains would explode…
So that’s how it is, which is why there’s a plan for annual expansions. That’s the only group that will still be playing D4 soon. When the players who “create” builds and share them leave, they’ll start making the game so simple that even a 5-year-old could create something, just to retain this group of players.
Right now, the D4 development team is having an identity crisis. On one hand, they want the game to be challenging, but on the other, they want it to be accessible for casuals and still easy. Unfortunately, these two worlds can’t be merged to create a perfect game for both sides. The only solution is to sacrifice one group for the other. And now we’re entering that phase…
Personally, I believe it’s easier to cater to the expectations of ARPG veterans (experienced players looking for challenge, complex mechanics, and synergies) than casuals. Most passionate players are the ones who create builds and generate hype. On top of that, they should open up trade for everything and allow casuals to “farm” gold if they can’t farm gear themselves. The game stays more alive thanks to the first group rather than the second.
I have played D3 about 8000 h and Poe 10000 h, so I am fanny with both games. But now I think that GGG has delayed PoE2 to see what D4 has offered. GGG has 1,5 year time to polish PoE2. We can be sure that it is done so well it could be. PoE 2 and D 4 are different games like PoE and D 3 are but if other is not as good as players think, they change the game. It’s that simpple. I do that for sure because D4 is not what I like at least after Season 6.
GGG cares more about their players. Not only are they keeping PoE with seasonal updates and ongoing support, but we’re also getting PoE2, and all the stash tabs you bought in PoE will carry over to PoE2 (I don’t remember if cosmetics transfer, but that’s less important). What’s more, they’re doing this because they know the game will be good enough that people will buy support packs. Unfortunately, here with Diablo, we have lies and pre-orders… because they know they don’t know what they’re doing. Comparing these two companies and their games is like comparing Gucci (PoE) to clothes from a Chinese app that’s popular lately on T (Diablo).
And for a very good reason. I dont say diablo 4 is bad, but it definitely isnt the best out there either. It is overpriced heavily, its expansions are overpriced heavily and their ingame cosmetics etc. are overpriced heavily. Yet people are stupid enough to put money into these, this is why gaming industry has become nothing more than a cash scam tool for “developers”.
