this is a server issue
the annoying thing is that no one informs us
and I just re instal the game and it’s been 2 hours and it’s down to 37%
Don’t waste you time on reinstall the game.

Also tried to reinstall, can also confirm that it didn’t change anything and still stuck on Downloading Data.
I hope we get an update soon regarding why this is happening. A similar issue happened with the WoW EU servers yesterday and today we get this.

After trying just about everything including restarting the router, reinstalling the game, reinstalling battle.net (not recommended as that one can easily turn out to be an error-infested nightmare on its own, looking at you ‘stuck at 45%’ error 
), running /sfc scannow and other OS repairs, and still getting nowhere, I finally managed to log into the game by using my phone as a wireless hotspot… After which I was able to log in using my regular connection as well.
idk maybe it was random, but maybe it helps someone else.

Same here. A cell phone works.
On my ps5 the same. My Rogue is stuck frozen on the floor. Can’t move and re-login. En now a can’t. Not one button from my controller respond.
What do those without the option to connect to wifis should do?

Who uses wifi on PCs? I’m hardwired!!
I always used wired connection, didn’t even bother buying a mobo with wifi when I built my PC.
I’m actually considering going and buying a cheap dongle just to see if it works
