get with this instead: make available ALL cosmetics that has been released and will be released for ALL users. One way or the other. Stop this full fomo and go half fomo, or even quarter fomo. ppl still pay. and if they can get the super cool item that was in season 3 they’ll be more interested buying ur exp, i swear it. these things topple big carts.
that’s my honest opinion.
then that some items may be harder to get, cost more cause older or rarer… up to u. could be a targeting function for this… that we rack up on gems that we can exchange for cosmetics. But the main draw here would be cosmetics dropping IN THE GAME, real loot you keep forever. the current grays are lackluster and mostly uninteresting.
realise that some ppl get fanatic about these things and want to collect everything. and they would. thousands and thousands of hours they’d spend trying to complete their collection. don’t stand in their way.
