Frequent crashes through the whole day

It has little to do with our computers, settings or drivers. It’s the game client that has some serious issues that causes crashes for a lot of people and it comes back up when they add a lot of new things.
I really hope they’ll take it seriously and actually fix the core of the problem for good.

it seems that I have found another possible solution, to reduce the quality of shadows to low settings

People suggest so many different things, but the core of it is that the client has issues that they should be fixed.
Some workarounds, like adjusting settings, will for most just postpone imminent crashes a bit longer.

Its not Nvidia, this is happening with AMD cards too.

Exactly, this is one hundred percent a blizzard issue. For each community “Fix” of roll back drivers or update drivers i see about 30 posts that tried it and it did nothing to fix the issue.

i am in same case, i try to play after each patch, but still perfectly unplayable… game crash sometimes with no reason, 75% crash at each teleport …

I play with task manager open on the details tab with all memory numbers for the game. It’s crazy … it’ll easily commit about 28 GB to virtual memory, up to 16 GB for the process and 11 GB of VRAM … that is insane amounts for what it is, and I’m not even using ultra textures or anything like that.

I should be able to see when it the leak starts and then I can restart the game instead of jumping into something new and crash in the middle of it.
No one should be this paranoid about trying to enjoy a game though … maybe I should just try harder to find something else to grab my interest at this point…

I contacted blizzard support and got a stupid copy paste, there is no point in contacting these bastards, they keep our money and do nothing about it.

After a few weeks and fixes you can savely say that the game is broken and the devs messed up. VoH has severe issues! the performance and stability is seriously flawed.
a shame, they released it in that state, would have never happened with old blizzard. never!
this results from the release now, fix later attitude the industry is forcing upon us. As a customer and gamer, I’m sick of it.

Blizzard currently only care about microtransaction sales?
When will they solve the shit error 9BFB86AA-F7FE-48B0-8199-2735F8A9BEE2 that happens every 10, 15 minutes of play?
And I don’t come with the usual talk saying that this is drivers problem, I have 2 highend pcs 1 intel another amd and in both the error is the same.

Anyone tested if game still crash after latest update yesterday?

Yesterday night played was fine. But when today 15pm I come back at D4 and got weird crashs. I have nothing play…

yes and it still crash for me

So many cant even play 2 mins without it crashing, even before char screen. Like even if you only care about your store, you don’t make a lava mote right outside the entrance. People who can’t play can’t buy anything either.

They are not intrested, I have been trying for days, being given the FAQ links, over and over again then told to look on the forum for a solution, but there is none because when you contact them your just given a fobb off, sometimes feels like if they could they would add a middle finger emoji, you paid money you can have a broken game that kicks you out randomly.

  2. Go to the Documents folder.
  3. Then open the Diablo IV folder
  4. Right-click on LocalPrefs.txt and select Edit to open it in a text editor.
  5. Press Ctrl + F to find DisableChromaEffects in the file.
  6. Change the value of DisableChromaEffects to 1 from 0. It will be like this:
    7.DisableChromaEffects “1”*
