Devs seem to have forgotten that this is meant to be fun!
What they have essentially done is make the end-game grind significantly harder AND less rewarding. To the point it simply isn’t worth it or enjoyable.
I’ll wait for Starfield, Baldur’s Gate, and Phantom Liberty and come back to D4 in 12 months to see if things have improved.

i’m leveling a necro atm and yes its nerfed but so far it feels more balanced then before and i must say that i like it. The game was way to easy with people killing uber lillith in 1 sec and doing nm dungeons tier 100 in the first month. That cant be right if you ask me and now its harder and i have to fight a bit more with my necro instead of one hitting everything i see. Now i have not played any other class since the patch but my necro bonespear build is still alive and i’m enjoying it
For me, game is unplayable. Teleport? Lag and restart. Get into inventory? Lag and restart. Turn on map? Lag and restart.
As level 83, on World Tier 4 went to a 4-man nightmare dungeon tier 39 with monsters lvl 93, got loot 50% for lvl80 and 50% for level 60 including the only 1 lvl 60 legendary from whole raid… didn’t even got enough XP for a single paragon point… deleted this piece of crap - not worth wasting any more time for no reward…
It already felt too grindy and unrewarding for the last 20h, but this patch became the last straw… don’t even have words for a proper rant…

How is that not right if you maxed out your gear and are doing the mechs correctly but still lack damage/hp/pots?

Yesterday my lvl 100 rogue was pushing NMD 90+, wearing BIS gear (could not possibly farm better). I’d progressed him that well i’d clapped Lilith at lvl 92 and regardless if you’d call that OP or not… it felt ‘good’ and ‘acomplished’ for my first character…
I just tried running a NMD 55 and got absolutely clapped by some random archer WTF???

I’ve struggled to enjoy playing Sorcerer for so long since the game launched. Absolutely hated the fact that the only viable lightning endgame builds were melee. Then I switched to a Shred Werewolf Druid build, and FINALLY I started to have fun in the game.
Until today.
And no going back to Sorc either-- the WORST class in the game got nerfed to basically unplayable right now.
Great changes Blizzard, I am baffled how you went and did the opposite of what people actually wanted.
I’ve defended this game since launch. After this patch I’ve got zero ambition to even start Season 1.

If more people are vocally unhappy than the simps who say everything’s fine, then guess what happens to the game in a couple of months? It dies, and you’ll be left alone on dead servers playing something that gets zero updates.

Well it depends on you player… Myself I dont even play this s**tshow any longer. Im not even sure I will try S1 right now(as I’m enjoying Starsector, thou it has somewhat of a learning curve), until BG3 releases and that will see me thorugh probably until the new PoE league(but even not I still have afew games to fill that gap until).
That’s me done. Blizzard used to be a top gaming company. Now it’s like they don’t even play their own games. Better games coming out soon so I got my monies worth at least.
That was Blizzard North. They were company “gamers making games for gamers”. They had love for their games.
Today Blizzard? Just part of big corporate Activision full of their own woke shit and internal problems. They don’t make games for gamers anymore. Shareholders and fulfilment of quotas are more important.
