I don’t know if other people also notice this problem. But usually when an ancestral unique item drops with 3 or 4 greater affixes The roll of the legendary affix is not good. What basically makes this great drops completely useless. I saw that Rhykker made a similar suggestion in one of his videos online. I am asking myself if such an item drops that the developers can make a change so that the value of the legendary affix is in the upper part of his possible values. Right now i don t really get that exited when a 3 of 4 greater affix item drops because usually i need to salvage it anyway because of the very low roll on the legendary affix.
Grats on getting 3 or 4 GA drops, i have had 1 only 3 GA so really cannot comment on your particular problem. Lvl 261 paragon just for reference.
Greater affixes should never have been added to the game. They were added as a lucky bonus, but obviously the min/max-ing players saw it as a mandatory thing, and thus Blizz started treating it as a mandatory thing in the games balance, transforming it from a lucky bonus to a point of frustration.
The game would have been better off without them in the first place.
I have the exact same experience, and it also happens with uniques. Whenever it rolls one or more GAs the unique/legendary affix rolls low, this is probably by design, to make good items very rare.
I agree, but they are here. They drop. The problem with it is that they are 99% (not a real number but it feels like it) useless.
