I pay for the closed beta and cannot play it because got shadownban from the company. Really???
Now let me see if I get this. I live in Brazil, pay a lot of money to play the game in a early BETA. Got shadownban from Blizzard and now I have to pay for a VPN to get a terrible experience playing the game? U guys gotta be kidding. I play that game since 1996. And everytime you guys make something like that is worse than before. Please fix this soon enough and get me out of that “black flag” list. and take some time to talk to your costumers.
Hi! Was the same error all day long! But VPN helped, and now playing while connected through VPN to US. It is ridiculous that I am located in Norway and have to use VPN and connect through the USA to be able to test the game. It is a bit like the EU is discriminated by Blizzard.
ProtonVPN. It has worked for me, I have gone from the damn error to two hours playing. Of course, with lag from Japan. But it works.
Give 1200 turkish liras(big money for game here) and play with vpn and lag lol. Blizzard?!?!?!?!?!?
300+ messages reporting the same exact issue and not a single word from an official representative. The last maintenance message in the launcher hinted at managing the number of players accessing servers due to network difficulties, so I’m guessing it is random account lockouts to keep the number of players at a manageable level, which in itself would be unfair. Whatever the reason, the inability to access the game early, which was marketed as one of the preorder benefits, is deceptive marketing/dishonest business practice. If this is a server issue, we are in 2023, where hardware resources are added to overloaded servers by moving sliders, or pressing buttons on your screen (yes, it’s that simple).

It seems to automatically reject the connection, like banned account. It always shows <less than 1 minute, and err. Im not even in queue
The best approach in my opinion would be to stop justifying failures of a large business entity centered around generating profits for itself, especially if you’re not an employee. Me and the company are not related. I’m a customer and I have paid for a product that does not work and does not fit its marketing description.

Unfortunately, I am in the same situation every bit: I played for a couple of hours yesterday, and I really enjoyed it. However, today can’t even see the character selection screen. every attempt for login “queued <1 min, code 34203” situation. Also, as many suggested above VPN US works well but it’s not satisfactory to try to play with heavy lag and spikes.
Why is there zero response from Blizzard side?
I really wish to play before the beta ends, without the VPN stuff.

I didnt pay 80 Euros to sit infront of my PC and get errors all day. I tried this morning around 10am to login and it never worked. Only when using a vpn to US. Wtf is this?
I also have this problem, woke up 10 am today, its now 11 PM, almost midnight, but I have tried all day, like every 2-5 minutes and I cant get into the game!, I bought into this piece of sh*t, how can this not work?
Surely just the pre-orders alone would give an accurate metric of the number of players expected to play the closed beta this weekend…yet they still cant have servers up and running/ready to handle the volume of traffic.
I for one will be refunding, and i will wait and see how next weekends open beta(even higher traffic)performs.
Diablo 4 may just have to be a “6 month after release purchase” game for me.
