Sure, we will use your analogy. Full Tank…
Your car has a full tank of fuel, and you can see using provided indicators that your tank is full, now if you want to just completely ignore the tank level indicator and fill up at completely random intervals, would you like them to disable the mechanism at the pump that stops the flow and warns you if you keep going this is going to spill all over the court because it highlights your lack of awareness?
I have no qualm about health potion spilling on the floor of diablo 4…
Also I have no problem with the inability to use the potion and I can see the life meter when I want. These would correlate to the fuel pump and the fuel meter in car. but I don’t need a message telling me… like I don’t need an alarm telling me I cannot put fuel in a car as it is full.
The error message that appears onscreen is redundent, like massively. The q button not working when I’m at full health is the pump not working when the tank is full. the fuel meter is the same as the life meter… there are not other alarms for the fuel, but there is for life.
Ok, that’s fine. Then let the potions be consumed and spilled all over the floor if you are at full health discharging a stack and watch how quickly you pull that statement back when you are constantly at 0/9 potions available.
I wouldn’t as I only press q if I see a potion on the floor and wantto check for ful life. either I use the potion or it remains there. This would just ensure I use the potion.
Also why are you against requests for an option to turn it off??
No where has anyone suggested these be mandatory.
Guys please ignore FastTrakz. The guy is missing the “be considerable and open minded” part of the brain.
The problem described here is not only about button mashing.
I simply bound a cooldown skill on the left click, one which i want to always be enabled when in combat, in order to be able to use the basic attack without a target with the right click.
This works well, but obviosly pops up the “Skill not ready” messages all the time since the left click activates the skill and moves at the same time when targeting a monster.
And this obviusly is not a button mashing problem.
And who the hell needs this message in the middle of the screen?
If it was on the skillbar I would understand.
Make D4 more QoL friendly.
They won’t remove it. It serves an important function to people who know how to play the game.
I guess “Skill not ready” is the new trademark for D4. I expect Carbot Animations to make a funny clip about this
An ARPG with cooldowns like these…gief button smashing pls
This is really annoying. Using a skill with a 1 second cooldown you should be able to hold the mouse button without that message in the middle of the screen. Especially when its your primary attack skill. They expect us to count every second? That’s bad design.
Options → Gameplay → turn off 'Error Notifications" (6th option from the top of the screen)
