Its look like Blizzard don’t care=cheat by using exploit=Green light so you can use any exploit in game with no punishment easy as they show with last hotfix(and don’t think you will get that item look at notes:unique items have a chance to be found in all chest it mean same chance as before patch=carrot for a donkey with no rewards.
Maybe your character, but other people want to continue playing it. Also, guess what happens, after Season 1 ends? There problaly wont be Season 2 instantly.
It doesnt affect your gameplay and in my opinion, this post is only made because it didnt work for you, or you didn’t get the info about the exploit before it was fixed. I didnt get one myself but i honestly dont care that some ppl did.
In 12 days, it wont matter anymore because the seasonal chars start from scratch.
“it wont matter because season are coming” - then when similar things happen in season 1 they will say it doesnt matter because season 2 is coming…
But your over estimating the skills of the development team if you think they can id the shako’s that dropped and delete them from peoples characters - they cant even copy your map and statue progress automatically to season 1 without you logging in to all characters (a simple database operation most IT uni students could do)
I see some people are saying eternal characters will be useless when the season is out. The problem is, season characters will be transferred to the eternal realm at the end of the season. Before we got the first 2 shakos, people killed 3 trillion mobs, and now 140 people got it for free. That, first of all, spitting in the face of those 2 people. And for a person like me who cleared Nightmare 100 and killed Lilith, uber uniques were urban legends. That was the reason I kept playing. Now, imagine it like this: You are running a marathon. You are preparing for it, doing everything correctly. You are almost there, you are winning. But after you win, you realize someone stole your prize or got it without running. That was the whole point.
I’m looking larger picture here what message Blizzard sent to community.
If you find a bug or unintended mechanic in seasons, then abuse it if its devs mistake. And try to abuse it a lot until its disabled or fixed. Because thats the way to play the game.
That’s what I also mean. And Blizzard announced that they won’t remove those items because they were limited to 142 accounts. Can’t you remove them or won’t you? Those 142 people are spitting in the face of millions of players. You may lose half of your players in season 1 if you don’t remove their items or make it easier for EVERYONE to obtain. We will make sure justice will be served.
// If they know people who got the items, that shouldn’t be that hard to remove them for justice or make it easier for EVERYONE to obtain.
