I’m thinking this will be fun.
Lots of good changes coming our way and I am eager to try them out.
Also will be collecting all the stuff. Those wings are the first I think are very good, and I doubt they will be the last. The fomo will undoubtedly reach new lofty peaks, which is unfortunate but it’s how things are run today.
Remains to be seen imo, but i do find the season release time interesting, as it is right after the game awards. I think we can expect a major announcement, and maybe a surprise at the game awards show.
You’re beginning to sound like a desperate crack addict Bombus. One minute the game is terrible and all is lost the next you can’t wait for more. Flip-flopping hard bro. Show some backbone, stand your ground!
I think different things. The things I think is bad is still bad, like fomo.
You should think again sometimes, rather. We’re always changing.
I still want something else than this. I’d like the world to be under siege, for example. So the legions would be events we went to prevent town sieges. And once a siege has happened we have to go there and defeat the monsters to be able to use the town again.
Maybe something like that. A lot more about the world, and a lot more about playing together. And a whole lot more about skill. And they touched on skill in the talkabout, or whatever you call it. They said that they are looking to make the Tower as much about skill as possible, rather than just a gear check. I honestly think that sounded very promising.
S11 got a lot of changes it can be good and it can fail. We find out Thursday.
The game is shallow and empty at it’s core (i.e. once you complete the story). The gameplay loop, if that’s what you want to call it consists of walking around in circles repeatedly mashing 2 buttons you fill your bags with trash, you empty your bags you rinse and repeat and after xxx hours of this (farming) you are rewarded with a small opportunity to kill a boss that has a tiny % to drop an item that you don’t even need at this point. So whether they allow you to do this as a Paladin or a Necromancer it doesn’t matter. It’s the same thing. The reward system is horrible, the vanity system has been monetized and that would have been the only real thing to continue farming/grinding. There is something wrong when people find this really mundane shallow pattern to be fun. Something really wrong. People should demand more but do companies need to even bother when players are content with a new coat of paint over a turd?
I have to click + on you because there’s much truth in what you write.
But I think the bosses has improved significantly.
And I think the gameplay loop has grown too, it’s more varied. The whispers has improved the most, I do that all the time.
Hmm, what else… Well, I should say that it is what you make it to be. I push all my buttons, frequently. But that’s not the full story. It’s also true that you can just faceroll until you have the loot. There’s not much finesse required right now, even though I think that has improved as well. And they’re promising more, wasn’t it with this very season they said that the intelligence of the enemies would improve? That their behaviour would change.
My biggest gripe is that you can’t find great cosmetics in the game. There’s no system of acquisition for that. Perhaps it could be something offered weekly or… Well, Idk. The problem is of course that if there’s a way to get the cosmetics from the game, their value drop dramatically even if you only get very few items like that. And that’s due to perceived scarcity. Few buy in on a cosmetic at 25€, so those who do stands out. If everyone has a few of those pieces, suddenly those who bought doesn’t stand out anymore and they might stop purchases from it. I don’t know, obviously, but I suppose there could be problems.
