Season 10 was my favorite Season. Also a missed opportunity from precious season

I spent countless hours this season and had an absolute blast. Building characters with chaos armor really made the game stand out for me, and everyone I played with felt the same. It’s been a long time since we had such great vibes on Discord about Diablo 4. I’m definitely going to miss chaos armor because of how it let us mix unique powers. I think Blizzard missed an opportunity in the Season of the Horadrim; instead of just the strongroom, they could have introduced the Horadric Cube. It could allow us to equip unique powers, similar to how legendaries worked in Diablo 3, and maybe even add recipes for the cube. For example, sacrificing a leveled Glyph could permanently add a new affix to an item that increases main stats, like 1 or 2 primary stats per level of the glyph. This could apply to any item, with two-handed weapons gaining double the bonus and amulets getting 50% more stats. With three slots, we could equip three unique powers, maxed out with only the unique effects, not the item stats. This system could have carried over to future seasons and the eternal realm, offering so much more variety in character builds.

Stop trying to make D4 D3 v1.9…..

D3 is the other way…

:point_left:

They added masterworking and tempering…..

This season sat right with me also, but not because of chaos armor.
I dislike how shoes become gloves and chest become head, it ain’t right.
Certainly opens up opportunities but it also closes them. For each slot I have several wants already, I don’t want it scrambled as has been with this season.
I’m not negative to the experience though, it’s been fun.

What I like then? Many things. I’ve skipped past a couple of seasons so I don’t know what’s exactly new for this one, I just like what I see and how this is becoming. Things make more sense now. I always have a gander at the map to see what’s going on, and there’s always something I’d like to do. If there isn’t, I have many fall back activities so I’m never out of options.
I feel this is starting to get somewhere and am enthusiastic about the future of D4.
