I spent hundreds upgrading my system and for a few days everything ran fine. NOW I log in today and it’s three steps forward two steps backwards. Can’t fight without getting dead due to lagtimes. C’mon Blizzard…I have been with this game since the very beginning and I am about to lose all hope. PLEASE give us an offline mode so we don’t have to keep having this crap happen.
i’m lagging also in Hc, seems to have started yesterday
you would never never never neeeeeeeever have an offline mode 
D3 never had (on pc) one so you will never have that on D4
maybe you will have a bug repair but then it will take how long (perhaps never) x)

i never lag. only if im on a instance from US or ohter places…
maby take off cross play

Honestly I dont have a problem with any lag on the game. My partner plays on a potato and its fine. Maybe check your drivers and stuff and make sure things are set up correctly. 1 wrong setting can cause an issue.
it only started yesterday, i never had any issues until then on pc or console

check your graphics card driver, even if it was working fine it could be just needs updating or reinstalling. Or something you installed yesterday could be interfering such as an anti virus
D2:rez still has one. Separated from the juicy choice of leveling your chars in the online ladder.

Ok so i NEVER had any problems with lags or crashes in D4 this season on my both computers, maybe a few times in previous seasons, but it never made go to forum and write that there is something wrong with the game or servers. And i play quite a lot.
But i’ve seen many times PC’s of other people. Sometimes they had 2 or 3 antiviruses running in the background, sometimes they had tones of viruses and malware, sometimes they had PC’s with tones of dust in it, sometimes they had 10mbps old lan card.
Finally, I will say that there is an appropriate section on the forum for such threads. It’s called “technical support”.

Tried taking off crossplay…I see others saying it just started happening yesterday so I am thinking there is a bug somewhere. Graphics card is brand new (Nvidia GeForce 1660 Super) so latest drivers were installed on boot up for the first time. When I said three steps forward and two back I mean it actually happened in game. Worst lag I have seen since the game started. I changed my ping settings weeks ago but whatever update they just did is what is causing the issue. Waiting for Titan Quest 2 so I can forget about this dumpster fire.

Nope…I don’t do PTR. Clean install of game didn’t work either.

Possibly…PTR would most likely create server issues??? I dunno…just frustrated that I paid $100 for a game that has never worked right and despite my interactions with Blizzard over these issues feel like they are not doing anything to smooth out gameplay. D3 had the same issues until they worked on it.
D3 was so bad at the start, we have every day disconnect from the server or server down for 1 or 2 day -_-
but the saddest thing is that after 10 years of D3, blizzard launch D4 and have the same problem …
i had no issues in PTR servers but the moment i log into seasonal CRASH
