Soooo, EU on PC here, I am trying to play since 9AM in the morning, now it’s after 4PM. For all this time I managed to play for 20 min (the firs and only time I managed to login) and the latency was horrible, the game was literally unplayable. I understand that there is a DDoS attack !!! but !!! a lot of people paid a lot of money to be able to enjoy the game on a weekend. The high price suggests outstanding support and fast reaction from Blizzard’s side… here I am once again disappointed with yet another Blizzard game…
Yet another disappointment! I had a lot of patience and politeness, but this is too much. For such a huge gaming company to allow something like this, especially on weekends when most people are free and want to play the game. I say all this on behalf of a lot of people I know who have paid absurd amounts of money for this kind of crappy service.
For this money, I want John Denver’s Country Roads to play when I log in and not to waste the whole day on this stupidity that you allowed and prevented people from enjoying the game. Bravo Blizzard!

The fun fact is nobody is talking about a offline mode , just crying like babies because spend 70 90 100$ on a product and they cant play on the weekend.
this is more serious , i own the ultimate edition , played yesterday 2h , so my first day playing was yesterday , and now that i do own the game now the game has problems.
a week ago or lets be more precise since day 2 on the pre purchase ppl have been doing xploints on xp , glitches etc enjoying the game with 0 problems at all.
now everyone that plays since few days ago , have to deal with maintenance patches and lot of stuff and cant even play.
why nobody is talking about a offline mode ? like why we dont discuss about our rights as consumers ? like why we cant play a offline mode with campaing optional quests and just dungeons , disable the event related stuff disable de online related stuff and let us play offline while you fix servers , ddos attacks etc , and dont tell us lies about ‘’ ppl will cheat on items if the game is offline mode ‘’ put a item ID check like other games did to verify the item you own as soon you are online the item is legit or cloned or edited with software , its 2023 and we cant play stuff we paid for , i remember playing Sacred 1 and 2 , diablo 2 with 0 problems offline and then conect if i wanted to.

I could finally log in earlier today after a lot of issues. Had to leave the game because the kids wanted some attention and now trying to log back in and I get this error??? I played since release with no significant issues. WTH Blizzard. How is it possible that now all of a sudden there is a license issue.

Since it’s a company that operates in rotating shifts, there shouldn’t be a problem. Anyway, whoever that work with servers knows that a DDos attack could happen at some point. If they are with this issue over 10 hours, it’s a shame. A DDos attack to a billionaire company should be nothing. This one could have been done by some kids who has exposed their incompetence.

Blizzard should definitely consider a good loadbalancing strategy of their back-end systems that handle licenses, Games and logins as the current situation for a 90€ game is dissatisfactory franky said.
And according to what is going on in the forums, a LOT of customers are really p***ed off right now!
