I said, it does not affect my game, I can group with my clan if I wish, or play solo. Not interested that you are upset that people with friends get an xp boost by playing together.
The incentive is that the servers require less instances if more players group. This is less server resources. The reward to the players as an incentive, is xp gain. Itās a win win setup.
