Black screen at start with no sound

Hello,
Just black screen, easly alt tab or close, just like a black image.
Endless in use:
~41% cpu
~60% gpu
60,5mb ram
Only distributedCOM warnings, but not same time.

Game uninstalled.
Battle net uninstalled.
All folders using search “hearthstone” “battle” - deleted.
SFC scan done.
ccleaner - done.
Firewall - off
Defender - off
Even update to 20H2 didn’t help.
Installed new nvidia drivers (never change if no need) - same.
Tried additional comamand to force dx9, and windowed mode - no change.
Reset in-game options, repair - no luck.

Had no problem for years, the only change i made recently was using Windows 10 testing mode (bcdedit /set TESTSIGNING ON) for a week (to force few mobile root drivers). Now testing mode is off, hots ok, overwatch ok, HS black screen.

Yesterday (today with no error): AppModel-Runtime 65 NonImmersivePackage error 0x57, if thats change anything.

What else can i try? I bet it’s windows fault, but got no errors, no hints to follow.

Hey there Napalm,

This seems to be a Windows error. Could you create a new admin account and see if this issue persists? If it does, you may need to re-install runtime components.

Alt admin account - same problem.

Unistalled C++ and installed again according to page:

knowledge.autodesk .com/search-result/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/How-to-remove-and-reinstall-Microsoft-Visual-C-Runtime-Libraries

No change.

Even in testing mode i get black screen (bcdedit /set TESTSIGNING ON)

Hello there

Have exactly the same problem.
It happens that I had a problem with my timezone information.
To check it, you can verify that the value of the registry key
\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\TimeZoneInformation\TimeZoneKeyName is filled correctly (it was empty in my case).
Setting it up correctly (Romance Standard Time for example) just fix this.
