Cannot type username/password on Huawei P40 lite

Hello there!
I’ve been having an issue trying to play hearthstone on my new Huawei P40 lite phone.
When I try to login the HS app doesn’t seem to recognize the phone’s keypad input. I type my pusername but it does not appear on the login forum box.
Is there a known workaround for this?

Sorry for the late reply here, but perhaps you can try copy and pasting it from a notepad, that may bypass the issue with the keypad input not being recognised.

Have you tried restarting your phone to see if that helps or clearing the HS App data.
