Do better…there’s a reason I’ve been burying you since 2010 and you’ve yet to get the picture. I just came back to Hearthstone because a friend assured mee it was better. I’m playing your story mode outlands and at Jek’haz. For the last 2 hours it has been loss after loss because no matter what, you are at the mercy of RNG on cards and with the hero power being rush and windfury its POORLY BALANCED. I get it’s supposed to be a challenge but who designed this fight? Seriously? I’ve seen better design ideas from Steam games in “early access” phase. Unless you get the perfect starting hand and perfect 6 draw cycles you lose. This is meant to be enjoying and yet I find it infuriating that no matter how you push for outplays you still lose to “Windfury/Rush” mechanics, I mean come on, do better or just shut the doors and kill the company already…just sad how far you’ve fallen. I’m sure your fanbois will come to your rescue here but I could careless, won’t be reading the replies or wasting more energy. Uninstalling this dumpster fire of a game, only respectable thing you have now is D2R and it is running off the nostalgia card like everything else you do. smh.
Sincerely
A formerly passionate fan of a once great company that died to greedy stock holders that don’t care about their players, just when they can roll out the next halfway done product loaded with cosmetic microtransactions. Seriously either roll over and die as a company or just sell it to China already.
Unfortunately it’s the same for World of Warcraft, Blizzard/Activision have no passion for their games anymore and only in it for the money. The old employees were amazing and actually listened to the community but now that the company has transferred ownership, it’s all about the money… they make awesome games but ruin it with stupid ideas thinking it’s amazing and yet, they’re not.
I’ve been giving bad reviews on all their games (perhaps apart from diablo that seems alright) because they’ve no care for it. Content is “okay’ish”… They employee idiots tbh.
I think Diablo 3 is just a constant grind for endless loot.Which is fine if you like this sort of thing.
Once I’ve completed it enough times, and believe me, I’ve invested many hours into it, cycling through the same dungeons and side missions becomes meaningless. Infinite paragon levels, endless difficulty scaling with little variation in how everything plays out…
You’re not getting better, you’re not advancing anywhere, you’re not furthering your collection; it’s just this constant hunt for better loot. But to what end? Loot for the sake of loot, mouse clicking through everything while your enemies fountain treasure everywhere.
I’m interested in Diablo 4 because it’s going to be a new world and setting to explore, or just the same thing with a fresh coat of paint, which is intriguing on its own.
But this intrigue of novelty may also last for so long, and will probably devolve into the same grind in further playthroughs. Unless they keep things fresh with game events and more content which isn’t just more loot.
Diablo II is nothing but a relic of the past. It’s inferior in all ways to Diablo III, save for the cinematics which are awesome.
Just my take on it.
Blizzard’s best games are Hearthstone, Blackthorne and the Lost Vikings franchise.Maybe someday we’ll get Lost Vikings 3.
I’d nominate Starcraft II as well. It’s well-designed, but I’m not good enough at RTS to maximize its gameplay potential . My brother thinks it’s superb but he’s a much better Starcraft player than I am.
