Getting spammed with DCs

No, it is not my network. In the last 3-4 years my ISP has not dropped my connection ONCE. Not ONCE. I play many online games, I never dc in them, no lag spikes no nothing. HotS? Dc after dc after dc, and the horrible reconnection system doesn’t help at all… or the AI that takes over and faceplants me into the enemy team or towers.

Please give me some suggestions on what to do or even an explanation of what is happening, because this is absolutely infuriating. I’ve reinstalled the game and app many times without any results.

And I want to stress again, that out of the many online games that I play (including WoW), only HotS disconnects me.

Have you tried running a WinMTR while playing the game to see where the disconnect might happen?

I’ll try running them exactly when i get DCed, but it will be hard to do. Some days I get them in the morning, some days at night, sometimes once per match, other times 3 times in a row in the same match.

For the moment I will send my normals pings.

The winMTr doesn’t really show anything. 100 % data loss usually means that those server can’t be pinged for security reasons and that isn’t bad for the connection at all. That all on the route can’t be pinged is weird but not even our server shows any high response times or any data loss, so it is not that.

Could you please provide a DXDiag and MSInfo here? If the data is too big to be posted on the forum directly, you can use a page like pastebin.com and post the link to it here then.

That is grand, it worked. It shows that your hardware drivers should be updated on the different manufacturers pages. Some of them are a bit outdated. And in which way do you connect to your router, because I can see a wireless ethernet there. Do you connect by WiFi or cable?

Nah, I don’t use the WiFi, just cable. I’ll try to update some of my drivers, maybe that will fix the problem.

I did a few updates, tried to update anything that could impact the game, like processor, firmware, and so on. I did an update check in windows settings/update, it says I am up to date.

For the DxDiag, sorry for not including it previously.

That is ok, the MSInfo was good enough. You also had some crashes in the last days of the avira program. It might be worth checking if that is fully updated or remove it completly just to make sure it doesn’t interfere with Heroes.
The asus software you are running (Predatorsense) could be causing the issue as well.
