it seems like genji has too many “get out of jail” abilities, i can’t think of any other hero who has such a “get out” toolkit, i mean, guy has dash, jump, protected and if all those failed he can just ult away
it’s nearly impossible to set up a kill condition on a genji without multiple hero abilities combination
he just has too many defensive abilities (which could also be used offensively) u gotta burn through, many of those actually counter even the strongest ults
that is is role and advantage, he has very low dmg output in general, both AA is low even with 3 attacks in one, his Q deal moderate dmg and so does his E and even with talents one of the abilities can gonna be high threat, but they are great for finishing off running enemies, and that is genjis thing. He is a finisher, he secure kills. Only his heroics are high dmg dealing. And if you have to use your heroic to escape, then you are weaker in teamfights. The trick is to stun him, while he can protect himself its only for 1,5 second, trick is to not dmg him during that moment and then lock in on him. He is not easy to kill, but thats his purpose. he dashes in and out and then he is out he is not a threat once everything is on CD. If you dont have stuns then he is problem sure, but otherwise, its just a matter of cordination.
