I have repeatedly noticed that the current matchmaking system follows principles that make no sense to the players. Frequently, I find myself in a team where teammates average a 1/8 score, while the opposing team has the exact opposite—a mirror-like 8/1. This fundamentally breaks the match balance. My own score usually remains competitive, but I am dragged down simply because I am placed in a losing team from the start.
A core part of the problem is the developers’ policy of not punishing griefers, and for some reason, the community seems to tolerate this. If you look at player statistics, most people perform consistently across their matches, which is clearly reflected in their Kill/Death (K/D) ratio.
I want to start a petition to rework the matchmaking system. Instead of matching players based on “playtime” or “total account level” (which doesn’t reflect actual skill), the system should prioritize the K/D ratio. Players’ habits rarely change; they tend to play at a stable skill level.
Currently, team composition dictates the outcome so heavily that the whole match becomes a question of whether you can solo-carry two teammates who are actively sabotaging the game. These “for fun” players aren’t looking for a win—they play only for the few seconds of an encounter and don’t care that their low K/D ruins the experience for the entire team.
