Periodic Freezing

Just recently reinstalled the game after a long hiatus and the game is constantly freezing.

  • Happens every 20-30 seconds for 1-2 seconds
  • Sound cuts out
  • FPS drops to 0, ping stays the same
  • Can’t issue commands while frozen, game moves fast after freeze to catch up
  • Running GTX 1070 / Ryzen 7 1700 / 16gb RAM
  • Windowed/fullscreen doesn’t matter, same with Vsync
  • Doesn’t happen in any other games
  • Does not happen when “trying” a hero
  • Restarting computer doesn’t matter

I’m currently reinstalling so hopefully that does it but I doubt it.

Honestly its the reason why I am uninstalling now. Tried next to everything. Running a GTX 1080 with an i5-6600k with 16GB of Ram. Uninstalled drivers completely reinstalled newest and older ones but nothing. Swapped out the SSD, RAM, switch, and networking equipment but no good. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled. Updated every driver I had even if it was already up to date, but since Feb I couldn’t beat the freezing for a few seconds. Even lowered my graphics to lowest settings and region to closes but nothing worked.

Sounds like the problem I had around 2 weeks ago.

If you have Windows 10, updating the windows MANUALLY should work, at least for me and other persons. I made a post on other post about the same topic so go check it out here Game started to freeze/stutter - #29 by kfgasd-2962
