Insane how you drop such hateful ignorant comments towards whole nation, basically calling them inferior people and that they shouldn’t be able to do something and still playing victim.
I got 2 questions: 1. What does average russian HoTs player have to do with goverment decision to engage in a war?
2. Who th are you to decide what someone should and should not be able to do, anon?
like russians… for me… in my games, outside of pvp and ai, cause i only play cooperative ai, russians i meet are very much about the game. and so am i. i don’t talk about things, we play. and i don’t mind them or any foreign symbols. i enjoy symbols, they’re beautiful.
this is a political view, that making trade with a warring state enables that war.
depending on who you like to win the war, you’ll trade with either. or who you benefit the most from trading with, long term or short.
supposedly, discontent people end wars.
un-entertained people are discontent.
if there’s no chocolate to buy, people are not entertained. they feel neglected instead. this causes domestic disturbances and is definitely at the cost of the people, but so is war, especially war at home.
it’s not against the russian people. but private actors should realise that they play a role in this war as well, and for that reason blizzard should contemplate doing business in those nations who war.
it’s up to everyone to end violence. if u further it, u do. how to end it, what’s fair? I don’t know. I can only have my opinion on the matter. it’s a lot of business, and the fairness of denying business to people based on nationality and its nation’s current national diplomatic status is dubious. And the possible positive effects are also dubious. Would the people discontently rise up against the oppressive rule of Putin the mighty? How though? Militia won’t ever beat an army in any scenario. This must come from within. Disgruntled and unhappy people is not enough to stop oppression, as history show repeatedly. There’s been the idea that trade is the way forward, and it has been, but it has also been costly to rely on energy import from an authoritarian state, as shown currently. And it’s been risky to build for trade when others seem to be arming for war. So what would be fair and true, just and righteous; the true path? well… suffering is disagreeable, imo. i believe most agree with that. and one suffering would be ending chocolate delivery to a people with little luxuries as is, such as freedom of opinion and a reasonable interest rate. so it’s arguable more evil than good ending business like that.
idk, friend. i think things too so… as for russians, for me, they’re chilled. np from me. never had any. i feel they’re defensive tho… like if u show that u go out of their way, avoiding them, or if u play lame on purpose… or expose them or something… they can… easier be affected by negative notion u know. which is a consequence of persecution and negative propaganda. that makes for bad players cooperatively under pressure… that makes foundation for real complaint of performance. but… imo… it depends on prejudice to begin with.
when i see cyrylics i just instareport them for spam and toxicity. No questions asked. I dont talk to them or about them ingame.
Yes, I often see English-speaking players who, upon discovering that someone has written something in a language other than English, stop and stand still for half the game. Then I receive a message saying “report the hero or player,” which is incredibly frustrating.
In my 4,000 hours of playtime, I’ve probably only encountered toxic Russian-speaking players a couple of times, but in every match, I come across players who intentionally ruin the game simply because they want to, and this behavior isn’t prohibited. They can easily die throughout the entire match and then file a complaint against a player who asked them not to ruin the game and not to die.
Are you aware that the broken reporting system seems to ignore complaints about everything except for insults in the chat? It only tracks the number of complaints, leading to automatic account bans, rather than the actual instances of insults. In this situation, out of hundreds of thousands of toxic players who constantly ruin matches, it’s the one who asked them to stop that gets banned.
New accounts get banned again, and it’s a never-ending cycle. That’s why experienced players often don’t write anything in chat if they don’t want to create a new account again. Even more experienced players try to avoid playing without a full team to prevent getting banned for chat messages that someone might see and report, as well as to avoid encountering ruiners in almost every match, who really should be isolated somehow.
Meanwhile, I see unfounded Nazi statements on the forum about humiliating certain races. Normally, this forum should block those who try to incite nationalist conflicts. Forum support, please pay attention to this post. Even though your rules don’t explicitly mention inciting national conflicts, it’s still important to combat such individuals, as harmful thoughts can be contagious.
It’s time for the opinions in your head to quiet down a bit; you don’t seem to have an ounce of critical thinking based on these words. Just try searching for ‘video games and aggression’ in your browser, and if you read it, maybe you’ll understand how wrong you are
Now read the definition of a Nazi. You are suggesting getting rid of a certain nation. You should be banned from all forums, isolated, and receive treatment for your nationalist ideologies
Forum support, please conduct a cleanup among forum members who support and promote Nazism on the forum. I recommend deleting this topic and taking action to stop it
It’s not an aggressive stance, it’s a pragmatic one.
But I both believe in it and not.
It’s not an aggressive stance, it’s a pragmatic one.
My position is indeed pragmatic. There are studies that prove that aggression decreases due to video games. One of the likely consequences of rejecting games is the mirroring of aggression.
For example, if a game stops working, a person might go to a forum, and there aggressive nationalists are calling to get rid of a certain nation, meaning to get rid of them in the game. Do you think the aggression that is no longer being neutralized will be directed at whom?
Oh yes, please. I would rather wait 1 extra minute in every queue than play with Russians. They are rude, they speak in Russian in Chat, and 95% of time they speak profanities and abuse (I can understand them, you see). They have extremely weak mental and are tilted by as little as 1 or 2 setbacks and are willing to throw the entire game froim that while blaming their team.
Isolate them to their own region, please.
i believe that entertainment is key to a content population.
if entertainment is missing, it leads to dissent.
dissent eventually topples governments, supposedly, or changes them. it must be dealt with, as always.
but yes, i would then agree that entertainment bring contentment. which would lead to less aggression as satisfaction is accumulated. but it’s not the russian people attacking, they’re simply the passive foundation of the attack. which is the problem, they have to act in some way to end the slaughter as they are the closest to this and thus, as a people among other people, they are the most responsible people for this if there’s any people responsible.
but no… i never have any problems with russians. they seem defensive to me though. they always play and they like to have their symbols and expressions, and have those accepted of course.
if someone’s agitated or defensive socially going into a game, i will bet that they’re the worse players from it but that doesn’t affect AI that I play in. It is only noticable when someone consciously tries to ruin the game or simply afk. russians don’t do that, in my experience, and neither does chinese. however, that guy loltroll99eubadruskigud does it. however how he’s related to the russian people is unknown.
i’m sure every part of the world has trolls and god knows i’m one of them at times, but i don’t generally see this from “foreigners”. rather i see caution and tentation.
my reason for wanting to end business in russia is because i want the russian people to wake up and recognize that this is unsustainable and a crime too. i want them to give care if nothing else so for their indulgence.
that ending business there would have positive overall consequences today and in the tomorrows are speculation. that’s something for experts and researchers to figure out, i only carry opinion and ideas.
should be a separate region for eastern europe as a whole.
