Store and matches are unavailable

I can log into the game just fine, but once in game I can not see my collection, purchase heroes, join matches of any sort or play the tutorial. I have tried the repair tool, reinstalling the game and repair after the reinstall.

Hi.
First turn off Blizzard App and delete the Variables.txt from the Documents\Heroes of the Storm file path.
Next open the Blizzard App and click Logo Blizzard at the top left, click on Settings>Game Settings. Find Heroes of the Storm, and click on Reset In-Game Options.
A possible cause is also blocking by security programs. Try to uninstall it temporarily.
Also use selective startup and disable all applications running in the background.

Trying these steps gave no result.

Delete the Battle.net cache and tools folder.

I did step 1 and 2 as 3 is for mac. I still get the same error. I even tried uninstalling battlenet and reinstalling it. That did not work either.

Thanks a million for the data. It looks quite alright, some ups and downs but nothing too bad. Could you please check if all necessary Ports in your firewall and router are open?

I added the exceptions to the firewall. It does not seem like the ports are open in the router. Do I need to manually enter them? It did work before (about a month ago)

That is why I was asking. Yes, you would have to have the required ports open on your router as well, otherwise the communication with the game would be impossible and could lead to what you are experiencing. I wouldn’t know how to configure a router running on OpenWRT. You would have to ask the manufacturer of the router.

It would seem I can play other blizzard games online, specifically Diablo 3. Do they not have some of the same ports required?

No, as you can see from the list I gave you, Heroes of the Storm requires way more ports than Diablo III for example. One difference being the ingame store for HotS that requires ports. That is why it is necessary that the game can communicate through all the ports from the list.

I have the same exact problem
i waited for the new patch to come so it might solve it but sadly it didn’t
I’m truly scared that with all your attempts it didn’t got solved
Now i have to wait for Fab 4 so that silly ''kid event ‘’ will end and then it might solve itself .
I play Overwatch and Hearthstone smoothly but not HotS
I wan’t to grind for the new hero but i can’t thanks to Activision taking our devs for other money grab projects .
