Recently I have come to the conclusion that the algorithm that decides your initial rank might be broken. I recently completed my placement matches with 3/3 wins. I usually matched up with gold 4 or 5 players, maybe an unranked person. At the end I got placed in silver 4.
I know getting out of silver isn’t hard since the players are trash not the best ones out there but this seems very suspicious, at least to me.
