Since the changes that made structures less effective for late game defense, most matches now are just about reaching level 20 and winning one decisive team fight, because the winners can then plough through any structures and kill the core before enemies can respawn. This pretty much reduced serious/ranked play to heroes that are most effective in this late team fight, with heroes that don’t exceed at killing (or setting up kills) being pretty much just a hindrance to a team as reducing defenses through siege has now virtually no meaning. I think some sort of adjustment is in order, because right now the game is too dominated by an extremely small group of heroes that are very good at getting those late game kills.
