I feel if they made Holy Ground baseline then Tyrael would actually see play. It’s his only redeeming talent when playing him. He base kit is just not good enough for a tank as many other tanks have the built in CC mainly stuns while Tyrael has a 25% slow which is beyond garbage.
Tyrael is actually amazing if you play him right, he’s just fairly difficult and if not played well, he won’t do anything at all.
His heroic abilities are insane as well, but I do agree that his lack of CC makes him a risky choice for solo tanking.
I think Smite should be a root.
