Just remove text chat, there is nothing but toxicity in there. If you wanna communicate with your team join the VC.
You can always type /hide chat, unfortunately the moment you accidentally hit enter that command will be overriden.
We are all human, someone insulting your dead mother will surely go under your skin and you will respond. Text chat is truely a test of fortitude.

Wondering if it’s because of mass reports or bugs with new system.
Either way trying my luck with blizzard until I reach the 1 human in support that doesn’t copy paste. GL everyone else affected by this.

i feel bad for blizzard employees and sup for layoffs, but if there is a issue. They should increase wait time for messages so they can’t get away with sending copy pastes, as it can be very depressing.

Any update on this? same happened to me earlier this morning. And I am absolutely confused. My mail said reason “cheating / hacking” and I know for sure that this is a false ban. I never once in my life cheated on a versus multiplayer.
funniest thing is I play 50% rein, 30-40% zarya rest mauga.

You pissed off a stack and got mass reported. I have an account that is suspended for abusive chat, that account was a test account with chat disabled. Im still in talks with the poor WoW GM that got pulled over to the mess that is OW.
Whatever happens they have no authority to unban your account unless you are a content creator recognized by them. an appeal is made through their supervisor. Then they accept the flaw of their system of bogus reports. This is what the GM told me, coolest mofo over at that circus, finally got to talk to an adult. SO no I will not compromise that person.
Unlikely. If they all reported them it would have only counted as 1 game reported. Mass reporting by a stack doesn’t do anything.

Start Deadlock or Marvel Rivals. They are much much better. OW player count is going down fast these last months anyway even with lots of updates.

I’ve been doing this recently as my account was banned last week for “cheating”. I have always played multiplayer games the way they were intended to be played and I never got any information regarding the basis of my ban. Once I get a “response” from them I just submit another ticket in hopes to reach an actual person. I have since unlocked comp play on another account but would rather have my main back since it has all my stats, skins, etc.
Hi, I got Perma Banned for saying tracer bad and Genji useless. This made my life so good. Now I’m playing Marvel Rivals and no ban or report or anything. Game is way more fun even if you lose some games. I sent about 30 tickets to finally have a real person to talk to me and tell me their stupid nonsense reasons! I’m so happy I uninstalled a game where you get banned for playing ball and making people fall off the map. Will NEVER give again my MONEY to those greedy *****
