Sorry, I know I posted literally like three minutes ago about i thought of another question.
I’ve seen a lot of people hating on the “Spotlight” thingy that’s happening tomorrow. However, I am actually feeling pretty positive about it and I’m very excited to see what comes out of it.
I feel like it’s a great way to get this game back on track and to make it great again. I’ve really been enjoying it lately with many of the toxic players leaving.

I’ve seen this… seems to be standard internet rage bait, attention seeking by the same old people.
Not sure what there is to hate right now. Because we’ve seen literally nothing. There is nothing to hate, yet.

The word “ground breaking” in the statement has me cautious though. That feels like a misstep.
This community isn’t the brightest when it comes to reacting to things. Feels like what ever they announce, those already hating it will end up just saying “told ya so” and claiming they were right to hate.
New things are always nice, but the lack of addressing the cheating issue is more demotivating than new things.
They literally addressed this the other week.
You also massively overstate how much of an issue it is.

as for me, I am mostly content though Quality of Life Stuff would be appreciated.
I am very excited to see which changes and additions they announce. I am also excited to watch some of the Twitch streamers playing these changes.
Do not let yourself be upset by the “negative” people, or people hating on OW. They will never be pleased by anything OW adds or changes, and they seem to love their new MR game, which has some of the same issues OW has had over the years, but somehow it is great lol. A lot of those people are also those who have never even played OW before, but they like to hate on it, because it is fashionable.
Just laugh at them and scroll past. And choose for yourself what you think of the game
