by defending socialism, and decrying capitalism, you are assigning your loyalty to a tribe, hence “doing tribalism”

Well that’s the thing. Absolute capitalism isn’t meant to be run by anyone except the invisible hand of the market. Socialism has barriers in place, things like taking from the rich to provide a security net for the poor. I think you’d call this “moral capitalism”? I call it socialism. 
But whatever you want to call it, it goes back to what I was saying about how you need regulation and wisdom overseeing these systems because left alone, they don’t work.

I am saying that capitalism has fundamental flaws, which I laid out. Do you refute it? Either way, it has nothing to do with flags, loyalty or tribalism. It simply is a flaw that exists within that system.
So once again, capitalism is a great motivator, or system of control, but it has its flaws. Perhaps one of those flaws has created this situation with China? People are upset about it, but it’s just Blizz doing exactly what our system expects it to do. I’m not really about destroying capitalism, but as I said, there should be regulations outside or above that system that prevent the flaws from causing damage. Those are the entities that need to do something. The invisible hand expects the customer to decide things, but the customer can’t regulate it because the entities have grown to such a size that it doesn’t really matter.
Anyway, the main reason why I don’t take all you’ve said that seriously, is because to be honest, my initial post was supposed to be a bit of fun. I mean, I kept referencing movies. So, I think you’ve taken my hyperbolic position far too seriously.

Do you even know what free press is? Because if you take a system that is almost pure capitalism in the USA, there is no free press. Press is dictated by the rich and powerful who want to missinform the people to keep the status quo. Every media outlet in the USA is a giant corporation, so obviously they follow their agenda.
Free enterprise is the next “hogwash” argument - unless your parents are rich already, it’s almost impossible to get rich in capitalism because those in power (i.e. with money) want to stay in power.
40% of Americans have less than 400$ in emergency savings. Meaning that if they somehow have to pay an unexpected medical bill, repair their car (as if the owned one…), pay a fine, etc - they would not be able to pay their rent, buy food, etc. 40%! So yeah, it’s the Scandinavians in their mixed, but socialist leaning systems that “own nothing”.
You try to compare Stalinism and Maoism (which isn’t even Communism) with mixed economies. Pure capitalism would mean no police, no fire departements, no roads, no schools, no bridges. Housing would never be even remotely affordable because already we have countries that are capitalist enough to show that no big company would ever care enough for their workers to ensure that they survive no matter how low the cost.
