i cant talk in the voice channels even though my mic is 100% working. im not sure if its a problem with my mic not conecting to the game or me not using the settings right.

If they don’t help you can paste the overwatch voice log here (steps for that at the bottom of that page) and we’ll be able to take a look - just make sure you post it in the preformatted text block!
