Cheating still out of control

You actually just did it again.
You are ignoring what was said in my message that you are replying to.
I know there are several conversations going on but before you reply to someone please re read the specific conversation so you know what’s already been said and what it is about.

Might want to learn how to read.

You too
I hope you have a good day going forwards and less cheaters.

I’ve been suspicious of a few people in games, but even if they did cheat it didn’t help them win.

Wrong country of origin, but ok. :upside_down_face:

I think he’s just projecting his own inadequacies now.

Insultingly questioning others intelligence whilst simultaneously making totally inaccurate claims… Really, I think you might be done here now.

Could have put that in the comment you made 2 hours ago but I guess you just want to troll more. Try not spamming the forum with comments…

Weird that the only comeback you’ve got.

“You could have commented when you past commented”

Maybe I was doing things
Maybe I just wanted to annoy you
Maybe it doesn’t really matter

Either way, you should probably just apologise for insulting the other dude and chill.

What the point in trying to prove that you see a cheater[s] in your game? On forum and games players call you mad, noob, sucker, loser and all of this stuff. Even if you right and report this one - nothing happen. Probably, with 0,000000000001% he will be banned, so what? He will just go and create new account and continue cheating. Which is means your actions will be for nothing. Also, players don’t even know how cheats works, there is no use to explain everything to them.

No they won’t. They’ll look at the cheater.

Unless you ask for tips or a vod review, literally no one cares how you play.

Only exception would be if you accuse someone of cheating, and all it is is them exploiting your bad awareness/positioning, then someone might articulate that. But that’s it.

Most cheaters seem to get banned pretty quickly atm, which probably explains why so few are actually seen. Be interesting to see how that evolves over time.

Well it looks like the only people prepared to comment are people who can’t or won’t recognise the cheating going on. Guess we’re stuck with cheaters in the game for good, same it’s ever been.

It’s going to be funny when all the people not cheating get fed up and leave, and all there’s left are a bunch of cheaters cheating and denying anyone’s cheating.

the issue we have at hand is Blizzard not doing enough against cheaters at all, you can catch a cheater and nothing will be done in 3 months. clearly seen all the time.

easy fix would be to implement anti cheat software , but blizzard are perfectly fine with the cheaters it seems. maybe cause they’re people who’d possibly buy skins that are heavily overpriced

Disagree.

They are doing the right thing, and that’s go after the creators though the legal processes. That’s the only way to stop it.

thats just not enough and it is not in the right direction, and question is can Blizzaard afford more legal fees?
the creators of cheats will always pop up so thats just a cycle that will never end.
the only viable solution is anticheat software

It’s exactly the right direction. Their systems can deal with it. They have reports, people checking and AI monitoring. They have anti cheat, it’s just passive and not kernel level.

The only way you’ll ever stop cheating is through legal channels. Cheats are created because people can profit from it. Take that away (or make it very difficult) and suddenly cheats start disappearing.

Until then you have to just let the system do its thing and hope it keeps adapting.

But you are right, it’s a cycle that will never end. So there isn’t much point getting wound up by it.

that is exactly the opposite of true, Blizzards own anti cheat systems haven’t been updated since day one, cheaters thrive for months before anything happens. and legal action will not get anything done, what is it you don’t understand?

You know this how?

Cheaters stay for a bit as the system collects data. They tend to ban in waves once they detect a cheat. It allows them to push the creator and stop people from tipping them off.

Luckily, there isn’t anywhere near as many cheaters as some would let you believe.

The same point as crying about it in a forum and providing no evidence. Its pointless and absurd.
I can create 20 threads tomorrow complaining about random things like DPS moiras, Feeding Reins, Reddit lucios etc and make up stories … whats the point?

The point is adding a Replay so we can all laugh about it dude.

or Blizzard could literally just do something, i don’t care if there’s proof or not. they just need to take care of it, it is still a huge issue and its growing since it became F2P and we have a surge of new players

There literally has to be proof of cheating for them to act.

It shouldn’t be put on the forums, this conversation shouldnt happen.

If you see a cheater, email the code to the email address and move on

Cheaters are up, but heavily diluted now so you see them far less, if you ever do.
